AirVision does not collect anything about you. It has no account, no sign-up, no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising.

What the app does with your stream

What you mirror to your television goes straight from your device to the television over your own network. It is never recorded, relayed or transmitted anywhere else.

AirVision announces itself on the local network so that a Mac or an iPhone can find it in the Screen Mirroring menu, the same way a printer announces itself. The announcement carries the receiver name you choose and the technical details a sender needs.

What the app stores

Only on the television, in the app's private storage:

None of this is transmitted. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it. There is no server to delete it from.

Purchases

AirVision uses Google Play's billing system for its one-time unlock. Google Play handles the transaction; AirVision never sees or receives payment details such as card number or billing address.

AirVision receives only the product identifier, whether a purchase completed, and a token confirming it. At startup, the app asks Google Play whether the current account already owns the unlock, so reinstalling or changing television does not cost you a second purchase. This is the app's only routine communication beyond your own network.

Google's handling of purchase data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
